Image & footage licensing
Halcyon Film Co. retains copyright to all images and footage we create. Clients receive a written usage license scoped to their needs (personal, commercial, paid-media, or broadcast). Unless an exclusivity or buyout is purchased, the studio may use selected work in its portfolio and marketing. RAW files and unedited footage are not included unless separately licensed.
Deposit & retainer
A signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer of 30% are required to reserve a date; the balance is due before final delivery. Retainers hold a date against other inquiries and are not transferable except as stated in the agreement.
Model & property releases
We obtain model releases from talent we engage for commercial work and request property releases for locations where required. For weddings, portraits, and private clients, any use of your images in our portfolio or marketing is by permission — you may opt out of public use of your photographs at any time, and exclusivity or a buyout can be purchased to remove portfolio rights entirely.
Cancellation & rescheduling
Cancellations more than 90 days before the shoot date forfeit the retainer only. Cancellations within 90 days may be subject to additional fees per the agreement. Rescheduling is offered once, subject to availability; weather reschedules for outdoor shoots are handled per the agreed weather call.
Delivery & turnaround
Standard delivery is a sneak peek within 72 hours and a full gallery and film within 3–5 weeks of the shoot, barring agreed-upon rush or extended post timelines. Delivery is via an online client gallery.
Pricing
Prices shown are illustrative starting points for this template and vary by date, scope, deliverables, crew, and usage. Every project receives a written, fixed quote before any work begins.

Insurance & credentials
Halcyon Film Co. carries general-liability insurance; a certificate of insurance (COI) is available to venues on request. License and insurance details shown are illustrative for this template.
Privacy & terms
This template ships without a finished privacy policy or terms of service. Halcyon Film Co. should publish reviewed policies covering data collection, the online client gallery, image retention, and client rights before going live. Questions? hello@halcyonfilm.example.
