The common questions.
Booking, delivery, licensing, who shows up on set, and what happens if it rains — sorted before you call.
For weddings, 9–14 months ahead is typical; for brand and editorial, 3–6 weeks. A signed agreement and a 30% retainer hold your date — until then it stays open to other inquiries. Popular weekends in spring and fall go first.
You’ll get a sneak-peek gallery within 72 hours of the shoot, then your full edited gallery and film within 3–5 weeks. Same-night selects are available for events and press at no extra charge.
We retain copyright; you receive a clear, written usage license scoped to your needs — personal, commercial, paid-media, or broadcast. Personal clients get full personal-use rights to print and share. Commercial usage and exclusivity are quoted up front, in plain English.
The senior photographer and/or cinematographer you booked — never a junior swapped in. For larger weddings and events we add a vetted second shooter, named in your proposal, so you always know who’s on set.
Yes — it’s our whole model. A coordinated photo + film crew shoots the same day so your stills and motion share one look, one direction, and one invoice. It’s usually cheaper and far more cohesive than hiring two studios.
Our editing and color are part of the work, so we deliver finished, color-graded images and film rather than RAW files or unedited clips. If you have a specific archival need, ask — we can usually arrange it under a separate license.
Often. We’re based in Brooklyn and shoot throughout NYC at our standard rates; destination weddings and out-of-market productions are quoted with travel. We’ve shot up and down the East Coast and abroad.
We scout backups, carry lighting for any condition, and have shot beautiful work in rain, snow, and harsh midday sun. For outdoor events we agree on a weather call and a covered alternate in advance.
